About National HELOC Rates
We help homeowners understand their home equity options and apply online with a licensed lending partner.
Who We Are
National HELOC Rates is a home equity resource and licensed mortgage company serving homeowners in 15 states. We publish guides, calculators, and state-by-state information on HELOCs and home equity loans, and we connect homeowners who are ready to borrow with our lending partner, Spring EQ.
Borrowing against your home is a serious decision - your home secures the debt. Our goal is to make the trade-offs clear: what a HELOC or home equity loan costs, how payments can change, and when another option might be a better fit.
How We Work
Plain-language education
We explain how HELOCs and home equity loans work - including the risks - so you can decide whether borrowing against your home makes sense at all.
Only where we are licensed
We accept applications only for homes in the 15 states where we hold the required licenses, and we say so plainly.
No sensitive data on this site
We don't collect application information here. When you're ready, you complete your application on Spring EQ's secure portal.
Honest numbers
Examples are labeled as examples, our calculator uses the rate you enter, and we only display advertised rates while they are current.
How We're Paid
Our guides and calculators are free. We may receive compensation from our lending partner when a loan we refer closes. Your rate and terms are set by the lender based on your application, credit, and property. You are never required to use our lending partner, and we encourage you to compare offers from more than one lender.
Editorial Standards
Our content is written for general education and is reviewed for accuracy against primary sources such as federal regulations, IRS guidance, and government data. We update pages when rules or data change; the site was last reviewed on September 22, 2026.
Sources we rely on include:
- Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB)
